WHY DO WE READ & WRITE POETRY? from "Dead Poet's Society":
You will need to bring in a poem of your choice this later this month -
- ready to share with the class.
It can be a favorite selection from your past, or even a creation of your own... It is up to you.
(song lyrics are acceptable as poetry too!)
Make sure it is school appropriate.
It should be short, between 8 - 16 lines long.
Add a visual to go along with your poem.
Carry it along with you for the day.
For extra credit you will have an opportunity to share your poem with the rest of the class!!
